Elizabeth Larose is a contemporary artist born in Thibodaux, Louisiana, and practicing in New Orleans. She creates abstract and abstract landscape paintings primarily with acrylics and gouache on canvas. Elizabeth is a traveler and hiker and has lived in India, Colombia, Turkey and several major cities in the U.S. The forests, lakes, oceans and vistas from mountain tops she has encountered serve as her muses. The Erato of her existence is New Orleans. That and a rich inner life are her inspiration.
