How do I purchase an item on Cucuron?

Add the item to your shopping cart from the product page then click on the shopping cart icon in the top right corner of the page, which is always available. Your payment will be securely processed via Shopify and you have a number of payment options to choose from.

What is your return policy? [Love Your Art Guarantee]

We hope you fall in love with your purchase from Cucuron, and we offer risk-free trials, that we call the Love Your Art Guarantee. If for any reason you would like to return your purchase, you have ten (10) days from your delivery receipt to ship it back to Cucuron for a full refund. Cucuron will cover the cost of return shipping once per original order.

All items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if these conditions are not met. We recommend using a tracked shipping method that requires signature on delivery to ensure successful delivery. Cucuron is not responsible for lost or stolen items that are part of a return if tracking information and a signature delivery are not included in the return shipping method. Cucuron will issue a refund once we have received the artwork in its original condition.

How are shipping fees calculated?

Shipping is calculated based on the specifications of the artwork being shipped. All shipping fees include insurance through InsureShield on the item/items purchased through Cucuron. After your order has been processed, you will be sent proof of payment to the email address provided during checkout, and Cucuron will begin preparing your purchase for shipment.

How are items shipped?

Each item sold by Cucuron will be packaged to maximize security during the shipping process while minimizing packaging waste. Eco-friendly packaging is used when appropriate and available.

Most pieces are shipped flat. However, if your artwork can be safely rolled, we will ship it in a tube, because it is a very secure method of transport. If your artwork is received in a tube, remove it as soon as you are able to prevent curling. A professional framer can also assist you with removal and framing will protect your piece. For works created with charcoal or pastel, we recommend that you take the artwork straight to a professional framer before removing it from the packaging as it can smudge with handling. Though pastel and charcoal pieces have been treated to prevent transfer of the medium, you still need to handle them with special care.

Items are typically shipped within ten (10) days of the purchase though shipping lead times can vary based on artist availability and the efficiency of our shipping partners. Tracking information will be provided when the item has been shipped. To ensure security, the customer must be present to sign for items at delivery. It is important to note that Cucuron is not responsible for lost or stolen packages including items that have been returned to the shipping facility because a signature was not available at the time of delivery. 

Cucuron is not responsible for shipping delays outside our control. All items shipped by Cucuron are insured by InsureShield in case there is damage during the shipping process. Customers must follow our policies for reporting damage to be eligible for compensation or replacement..

My item was damaged during the shipping process. What should I do?

Please reach out to admin@cucuronshop.com and provide us with the order number, pictures of the damaged item, pictures of the original packaging, and a description of the damage within twenty fours hours of delivery. We will work with you to process a claim with the insurance provider.

Is Cucuron artwork framed?

Unless otherwise specified, all artwork sold by Cucuron is unframed to allow for greater flexibility in style and personalization. We recommend working with a professional framing company in your area for guidance. 

We do recommend that you choose framing with UV protection to protect your pieces, because prolonged exposure to UV rays is harmful to art and can result in light damage including fading and discoloration.

Are Cucuron pieces original?

Yes. Except for limited-edition prints or where otherwise stated, every piece we sell is a handmade original, which means that it is entirely unique to your collection.

What is a limited-edition print?

A limited-edition print is a piece of art produced as a numbered unit in a predetermined quantity. The number of prints available in each size and medium is outlined on the product page and the print will be delivered numbered (such as: 2/10) and is personally signed by the artist. Once the available copies are sold, the artist will not reissue the same design at the same scale.

Does Cucuron sell Gift Cards?

Cucuron gift cards are available in denominations from $50 - $5,000. If you would like a custom amount please reach out to admin@cucuronshop.com and we will do our best to accommodate your request. 

Please be aware that Gift Cards are valid for one year from the date of purchase. We are not able to refund Gift Cards or to offer partial-returns if you do not use the full value of your card.
