Inspiration
This piece began with a delicate splatter of blue paint, and evolved into a movement of blue that felt like a release or shattering of something contained. The act of shattering is fast and chaotic. This piece is a freeze frame in my mind of this moment.

Jeffrey Cutaiar is a New Orleans-based artist whose work is a playful marriage of color, shape, and spontaneity. Working primarily in acrylic, Jeffrey’s work leans heavily into the power of color and composition that create moments of curiosity and intrigue.
